Where we stand
The Affordability Coalition of Texas is a group of families, small business owners, and community leaders who think the cost of living here has gotten out of hand. Property tax bills that climb faster than paychecks. Prescriptions people ration to make it to the end of the month. Coverage that costs more every year and covers less. School budgets that shrink before the money ever reaches a classroom.
None of that is inevitable. It is the result of choices, and choices can be made differently. We back the legislators willing to do that work — whatever district they represent.
